Located in Versailles, Indiana, this Art Deco school building was constructed in 1938 as a two-story, flat-roofed structure. An auditorium was added in 1950, funded by James H. Tyson, a founder of Walgreens, whose name it bears. The Tyson Auditorium became a notable venue for the celebrated Milan high school basketball team, which used the space when their home court could not accommodate crowds. The complex was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2006. Following its listing on Indiana Landmarks' 10 Most Endangered Landmarks list in 2011, the school building was converted into apartments while the auditorium was reopened as the Tyson Activity Center.
