Located in Vestal, Broome County, New York, this Art Deco school building was designed by architect Truman Arthur Lacey and completed in 1939. The large structure features a modified U-shaped plan rising three to four stories, constructed of variegated brick over cinder block with a steel frame and reinforced concrete foundation. Art Deco detailing adorns the interior, reflecting the style's influence on institutional design during the Depression era. A bus garage added to the property in 1950 completes the original complex. Once a traditional school facility, the building now serves a diverse range of tenants, including the Vestal Senior Center, Evergreen Alternative High School, small businesses, and district administrative offices. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.
