Vienna West railway station (Wien Westbahnhof) is a modern architectural railway station located in the Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus district of Vienna, designed by architect Josef Wöhnhart. Originally the starting point of the West railway and a terminus for international services, the station's role shifted significantly in 2015 following the opening of Vienna's new main station, transforming it into primarily a commuter hub and terminus for WESTbahn's intercity services to Bregenz and Munich. The station is served by local S-Bahn line S50 and U-Bahn lines U3 and U6, while six tram lines converge at the adjacent Europaplatz, and bus connections to the airport are available.
