The Vietnam Military History Museum, established on July 17, 1956, is one of Vietnam's seven national museums. Designed by Japanese architect Nikken Sekkei, the museum relocated in November 2024 to a new facility on Thăng Long Boulevard in Tây Mỗ Ward, Hanoi. The institution's original location occupied space within the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long on Điện Biên Phủ Street, where it operated for decades before the contemporary relocation expanded its capacity to serve as a major repository of Vietnam's military heritage.
