Vilsandi Lighthouse, located on the island of Vilsandi some 10 kilometers west of Saaremaa in Estonia, is a stone tower standing 37 meters tall and dating to 1809, making it the oldest lighthouse on the Baltic Sea coast in Saare County. Built as an architectural monument, it has witnessed significant local history, including the 1907 appointment of lighthouse keeper Artur Toom, who established the first protected area on the nearby island of Vaika before his service ended in 1941. The structure underwent renovation in 1957.
