Anseküla Lighthouse stands on the eastern shore of the Sõrve Peninsula on Saaremaa island in Estonia. Built in 1953 as a concrete square tower with a gallery, it rises 31 meters and replaced an earlier light mounted on a church that was destroyed during World War II in 1944. The structure lacks a traditional lantern but produces a distinctive white flash every 1.5 seconds to guide mariners through the surrounding waters.
