The Vincent House is a three-story Second Empire residence built in Fort Dodge, Iowa, in 1871, distinguished by its mansard roof and wrap-around porch rendered in red brick. Web Vincent, a businessman who accumulated wealth in the local gypsum industry, moved his family into the house in 1879, where it remained in family hands until 1969. A notable feature is the ballroom on the third floor, whose walls were composed of gypsum plaster—marking the first use of this material in the United States. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973 and is recognized as the sister home to the Caleb Pusey House.
