The William Post Mansion in Buckhannon, Upshur County, West Virginia, is a historic Neoclassical Revival dwelling originally constructed in the 1860s and substantially renovated in 1891. The 2½-story brick structure features a distinctive three-story stone tower and a front portico supported by Doric order columns. Early twentieth-century additions include a gymnasium built above the porte cochere and a carport added during the 1930s. The property encompasses several outbuildings reflecting its agricultural heritage—a corn crib, hay barn, equipment shed, and storage structures—as well as a guest house and rustic gazebo. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993, the mansion preserves both its domestic and operational character across multiple generations of modification and use.
