The W.B. Swigert House is a historic 2½-story Victorian brick residence in Maquoketa, Iowa, built around 1896 during the town's late-nineteenth-century economic expansion. Distinctive for its quoined corners—a rare architectural feature in Iowa—the house follows a rectangular plan punctuated by cross gable wings, a gambrel dormer, and Stick Style trusses on both gable and gambrel sections. A one-story polygonal bay window projects from the façade, adding dimensional complexity to the design. The Swigert family's prominence in the community was tied to their ownership of the Maquoketa Sentinel newspaper. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.
