Built in 1898 in Iowa Falls, W.R.C. Hall is a Victorian-era structure displaying Italianate architectural features, including segmented arched windows and a bracketed metal cornice. The building was constructed for the Woman's Relief Corps, a national organization established to support Civil War veterans, widows, and orphans; the local Payne Post #48 chapter, organized in 1886, used the hall to host community gatherings, entertainment, and charitable activities while maintaining veteran grave sites. Following the organization's decline, ownership transferred through the American Legion to the City of Iowa Falls before passing into private hands. The building has since served various commercial purposes and currently functions as an apartment building. It was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993 and later designated as a contributing property in the Washington Avenue Commercial Historic District in 2012.
