The Walden United Methodist Church, erected in 1893 in Walden, New York, is a late Victorian Gothic Revival brick structure that incorporates elements of Romanesque Revival in its complex massing and ornamental detailing. Built for a congregation with roots dating to 1817, the church incorporates portions of an earlier 1840 church on the same site. Its interior, originally designed in the Akron Plan, exemplifies the progressive church design thinking of the late nineteenth century. The building remained largely intact through its active Methodist years until desanctification in 2013 and sale in 2014. In 2022 it was repurposed as the Walden Jam-e-Masjid by a Muslim congregation. The church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.
