The Walter Hand House, a Gothic Revival farmhouse built around 1870 on Angola Road in Cornwall, New York, originally anchored a five-acre property designed to function as both a working farm and summer boardinghouse, reflecting Cornwall's emergence as a resort destination in the Gilded Age. The structure and its grounds were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1996 and now operate as Shadow Mountain Farm, a bed-and-breakfast inn.
