Waltham Highlands station is a former railroad station in Waltham, Massachusetts, built in 1881 in the Victorian architectural style. Originally established by the Massachusetts Central Railroad and later operated by the Central Massachusetts Railroad beginning in 1885, the station was situated on Hammond Street north of Waltham's town center. The facility entered the MBTA Commuter Rail system in 1965 with MBTA subsidies but closed on November 26, 1971, when service on the Central Mass Branch ended due to deteriorating track conditions and insufficient ridership. Though no longer a functional station, the Victorian building survives with modifications and currently serves as an insurance agency office. In 2023, a section of the Mass Central Rail Trail—Wayside was constructed along the former railbed adjacent to the station.
