Located at 524 Stewart Street in Fort Bragg, California, the Weller House is the city's oldest building, a three-story Victorian residence built in 1886 for Horace Alanson Weller Sr., a prominent businessman who managed the Union Lumber Company Store and co-founded Fort Bragg's first bank. Expanded in 1887, the house grew to encompass 10,000 square feet across ten rooms, including a 900-square-foot ballroom. Occupying four contiguous city lots on the town's oldest residential neighborhood—itself named after the Weller family—the property became significant enough to earn listing on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976, along with two contributing buildings and one contributing structure. Today it operates as a bed and breakfast.
