Wells Fargo Center, completed in 1992 in downtown Sacramento, California, is the city's tallest building at 129 meters (423 feet). Designed by the architectural firm Hellmuth, Obata and Kassabaum (HOK) and developed by William Wilson & Associates in partnership with Crocker Properties, the office skyscraper occupies an entire 2.3-acre city block. Its distinctive interior features a five-story atrium with walls of granite and marble enclosed in clear glass. The building formerly housed a Wells Fargo History Museum on its ground floor lobby, dedicated to the bank's regional heritage, though the museum has since closed permanently.
