The Werner Knoop House in Little Rock, Arkansas, built in 1936–37, represents a rare example of Art Moderne residential architecture in the city. Designed by the local firm Brueggeman, Swaim & Allen for Werner Knoop, owner of a construction company, the two-story L-shaped structure exemplifies Streamline Moderne principles through its carefully composed details. White-painted brick with flush mortar joints forms the exterior, punctuated by asymmetrically arranged steel-frame windows in varying sizes and shapes. A recessed entrance framed in stone sits to the right of a projecting two-car garage. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.
