Wesley Church in Egmore, Chennai, is one of the oldest churches in the area, built in 1903 by the Wesleyan Mission in the Gothic architectural style. Named after John Wesley, founder of the Methodist Movement, the church was constructed to serve the growing spiritual needs of the Egmore community. Today it operates as an active Protestant place of worship under the Diocese of Madras of the Church of South India, offering hourly prayers and daily services. The church maintains traditional observances, including an annual Harvest festival each November, and stands as a prominent landmark in the neighborhood.
