Whitehall Farm is a Greek Revival mansion near Yellow Springs in Greene County, Ohio, built in 1846–47 by Judge Aaron Harlan on property originally purchased in 1808 by Cincinnati businessman Martin Baum. The two-story brick structure features a prominent four-pillar portico and rests on a stone foundation, with its distinctive materials—brick fired in a nearby kiln and ornate wooden interiors crafted from local oak, wild cherry, and walnut—reflecting the resourcefulness of its construction. Positioned on a hillock to command expansive views, the twelve-room house impressed observers enough by the early twentieth century to earn recognition as Greene County's "most picturesque country house." Though initially nicknamed "Harlan's Folly" for its ambitious scale, the property thrived under later ownership by E.S. Kelly, who made substantial improvements; it was designated a National Register of Historic Places site in 1980 for its architectural significance and association with prominent local residents.
