Built in the 1890s for local merchant William Stolte Jr., this two-and-a-half-story Queen Anne house at 432 South Walnut Street in Reedsburg, Wisconsin exemplifies the ornamental exuberance of late-nineteenth-century residential design. The clapboard structure features a wraparound front porch supported by fluted columns, a pedimented entrance, and multiple projecting bays. Its complex roofline combines hip and gable elements with two dormers and a distinctive round turret topped by a conical roof, all enriched with decorative shingles and woodwork. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, the house stands near its companion, the William Stolte Sr. House, also a registered historic property.
