The Wilmington Club, a historic clubhouse in Wilmington, Delaware, was originally built in 1863 as a three-story, five-bay brownstone dwelling designed by architect Thomas Dixon in the Italianate style. Also known as the John Merrick House, the building features a "T"-plan layout. The Wilmington Club acquired the property in 1900 and subsequently expanded it during two major renovation campaigns: between 1936 and 1950, and again in 1966. The club itself was incorporated in 1877. The structure is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
