Woods Hill is a 17-acre historic estate in Franklin, Virginia, centered on a 1951 Colonial Revival house designed by architect Alan McCullough. The two-story brick structure employs custom bricks laid in Old English Bond with rough edging mortar, exemplifying mid-twentieth-century revival architecture. The landscaping was designed by Charles Freeman Gillette. Beyond the main house, the property preserves a log cabin and an old service station built by the owner's father, artifacts of its rural heritage. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014 and designated a Virginia Historic Landmark, Woods Hill represents both architectural refinement and vernacular continuity.
