The Young Brothers Chevrolet Garage in Chinook, Montana, is a stucco-walled automotive business building listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1994. Built in the Mission style—an architectural form rarely encountered in the Rocky Mountain and Great Plains region—the structure exemplifies early twentieth-century automotive-era modernism through its distinctive curvilinear parapet, capped pilasters, horizontal relief banding, and smooth stucco exterior. Established as a garage serving US Route 2 travelers and local residents in 1912, the site was purchased in 1929 by brothers Neil and Hollis Young, who operated the Chevrolet dealership and subsequently added Pontiac and Oldsmobile franchises. The business functioned as both an automotive sales and service center and a gasoline station, dispensing Conoco, Grizzly, and Silver brands through the 1970s, before continuing as Precision Auto Body in the 1980s—representing a remarkably continuous pattern of automotive use rarely documented in Montana buildings.
