Eighth & Main, a postmodern 18-story high-rise completed in early 2014, stands at 323 feet (98 meters) as Idaho's tallest building. Located in downtown Boise, it houses the Idaho headquarters of Zions Bank alongside tenants including the law firm Holland & Hart and Ruth's Chris Steak House. The building occupies a site that had remained vacant since 1987, formerly dubbed "the pit" and "the Boise Hole." The upper floors include the Idaho & Snake River Rooms on the 17th floor, available for public rental for nonprofit and community events.
