This postmodern skyscraper stands 285 feet tall in Providence, Rhode Island, designed by HOK and completed in 1985. Originally called Fleet Center, it takes its current name from the adjacent Kennedy Plaza to its northeast. The building's exterior combines granite framing with green-reflective glass, giving it a distinctive appearance. Though the sixth-tallest structure in the city, architectural historian William Woodward observed it appears somewhat undersized for its prominent site, hemmed in by the taller One Financial Center and Industrial National Bank Building nearby. Yet these three towers together form one of Providence's most recognizable skyline landmarks, even featured on the animated series Family Guy. Notable tenants include the Fortune 1000 firm Nortek, Inc. and Providence Equity Partners.
