Situated on the banks of the Bharathappuzha River in Palakkad District, Kerala, the Thirumittakode Anchumoorthi Temple is a Hindu shrine dedicated to both Vishnu and Shiva, housing five principal deities—one Shiva image and four representations of Vishnu. Built in Kerala architectural style, the temple holds distinction as one of the 108 Divyadesam (sacred Vishnu temples) and one of the 108 Shivalayam (Shaiva temples), with Vishnu worshipped here as Uyyavandha Perumal and his consort Lakshmi as Vithuvakootuvalli. The temple preserves a rare Chola-period record of Emperor Rajendra I (r. 1012–1044 AD), documenting historical connections to Kerala's medieval past. Major festivals include Thiruvonam and Vaikunta Ekadasi in the month of Thai, and the shrine is administered by the Travancore Devaswom Board.
