Al-Tall Al-Zaynabiyya is a Shi'a Islamic holy site in Karbala, Iraq, rebuilt in 1978, that commemorates the historical position where Zaynab, sister of Husayn ibn Ali, stood during the Battle of Karbala to observe the fate of her brother. Located southwest of Husayn's shrine and approximately 35 meters from the site of his martyrdom, the structure rises about five meters above the courtyard floor. The building is designed as a chamber with a dome crowned in blue tiles and accessed by a series of steps, embodying the Islamic architectural tradition while serving as a pilgrimage destination for devotees observing the tragedy of Ashura.
