The Albuquerque Veterans Administration Medical Center, located at 2100 Ridgecrest SE in Albuquerque, New Mexico, was constructed in 1932 as a hospital serving veterans. Designed in a blend of Spanish Revival and Pueblo Revival architectural styles, the complex comprises 16 contributing buildings and a contributing structure across 40 acres. The main building features asymmetrical massing that steps up in terraces of varying heights, crowned by a five-story tower off-center from the entrance with three portals framed by roughly hewn lintels and columns. Its interior showcases hand-carved wooden vigas with decorative painted Indian motifs. Secondary buildings incorporate pueblo and Spanish details including timber-framed porches, decorated corbels, patio gardens, and pueblo-style arcades, while windows sit deep within the walls. Building 2 notably features two rounded bell towers with battered walls that evoke a pueblo church. The complex was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
