The John Pearce House is a historic residence in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico, built in 1905 by Dr. John F. Pearce, one of the city's first physicians. Constructed by contractor Wallace Hesselden, the two-and-a-half-story building combines American Foursquare massing with Tudor Revival detailing, featuring a pyramidal hipped roof with dormers on three sides and a full-width porch. Its distinctive exterior employs dark-colored clinker brick on the ground floor and porch columns alongside stuccoed walls with half-timbering on the upper story—materials unusual for the region at the time. After Pearce vacated in 1933, the house served as a boarding house and chiropractic clinic before architect Antoine Predock oversaw its 1982 conversion to office space. Today it stands as the only extant residence on the downtown section of Central Avenue, now surrounded entirely by commercial buildings. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
