The Alois and Annie Weber House is a three-story Second Empire residence built in 1873 in Keokuk, Iowa, during the city's period of industrial expansion. The house exemplifies the style with its distinctive asymmetrical concave mansard roof, decorative brackets, and pedimented dormer windows, while tall narrow windows and high ceilings characterize its interior. A later Queen Anne-style wraparound porch, supported by fourteen classical columns and adorned with balustrade and spindlework, was added to the front, while two rear additions followed shortly after the main structure's completion. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002. Alois Weber, who founded the hardware business A. Weber & Co. and operated it until his death in 1917, and his wife Annie, who owned a millinery shop from 1856 to 1887, built this residence as a reflection of their prominence in the community.
