Atlas Tower is a 116-meter skyscraper in Warsaw, Poland, located at Artur Zawisza Square on the western part of Aleje Jerozolimskie. Completed in 1999, the building was designed and built by Turkish architect and businessman Vahap Toy, following his expulsion from Poland and the dissolution of his business interests there. Originally financed by the Turkish Reform Company Ltd. at a cost of $45 million, it was first known as Reform Plaza before subsequent ownership changes led to its better-known name, Millennium Plaza, after its longtime tenant Bank Millennium (headquartered there until 2008). The 31-story structure, with three floors below ground, combines mixed-use commercial and office space: three basement levels provide parking for 436 vehicles and utilities, four floors contain retail, the fifth houses restaurants, and the sixth offers conference facilities and language exam centers for the British Council. The remaining floors comprise Class A offices, including the embassies of Argentina and Mexico. Two panoramic and six service elevators serve the building, which has housed notable tenants such as Dell, publishing firm On, and IT companies. Warsaw residents sometimes refer to it informally as "Toi-Toi," after a portable toilet brand.
