Avery Rock Light was a lighthouse built in 1875 on a small rocky islet in Machias Bay, Maine, situated 110 metres long and 48 metres wide and accessible only by boat. The original structure was a square tower with a gallery and lantern centered on the keeper's house. The lighthouse was automated in 1926, but severe storm damage in 1947 rendered it beyond repair, leading to its demolition. It was subsequently rebuilt as a 13-foot skeletal tower with a focal plane at 17 feet, emitting a white flash every 6 seconds.
