Binion's Gambling Hall & Hotel, a casino on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas, was founded by Benny Binion in 1951 and operated by his family until 2004. Originally called Binion's Horseshoe, the establishment once housed a 366-room hotel, which closed in 2009. Under current ownership by TLC Casino Enterprises, 81 of those rooms were reopened in 2019 as the boutique Hotel Apache. The casino remains a fixture of the Fremont Street Experience pedestrian mall.
