Blue Hill Bay Light stands on Green Island in Maine's Hancock County, marking the waters of Blue Hill Bay. Originally established in 1857, the lighthouse comprises two structures: a white cylindrical tower with attached keeper's residence from the original construction, and a skeleton tower erected in 1935 that now serves as the active light. Also known as Sand Island Light or Eggemoggin Light, the station was acquired in 2018 by Green Island Lighthouse, LLC, as part of a broader purchase of Green Island and its surrounding lands.
