The BMW Welt in Munich's Am Riesenfeld district is a deconstructivist exhibition, delivery, adventure museum, and event venue designed by Coop Himmelb(l)au and Wolf D. Prix. Completed in 2007 after four years of construction, the 24-meter-high complex stands adjacent to the Olympic Park and the BMW Headquarters, serving as a showcase for automotive culture and corporate heritage. The building features an 800 kW solar system on its roof, reflecting contemporary sustainability concerns. Since its opening on 17 October 2007, it has become Bavaria's most visited tourist attraction, functioning as both a commercial delivery center and a cultural destination that hosts exhibitions and events.
