Brown's Manor, a 2½-story Second Empire residence at 115 High Street in Ipswich, Massachusetts, was built around 1886, likely by George Brown, a member of a locally prominent house-building family who purchased the property that year. The brick structure features distinctive wooden trim, a mansard roof crowned with segmented-arch dormers, and white-painted wood quoining at its corners. The front entrance, set within a round-arch opening, is sheltered by a porch supported by grouped paneled columns. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, the house exemplifies the elaborate residential architecture favored in late-nineteenth-century New England.
