Central Plaza is a 78-storey, 374-metre glass skyscraper completed in August 1992 at 18 Harbour Road in Wan Chai, Hong Kong Island. Designed by DLN Architects, it held the distinction of being Asia's tallest building from 1992 until 1996, when Shenzhen's Shun Hing Square surpassed it. The tower was also the world's tallest reinforced concrete building until Guangzhou's CITIC Plaza was completed in 1996. Its most distinctive features include a triangular floor plan and a four-bar neon clock at its summit that displays time through colour changes at 15-minute intervals. The building's 102-metre mast, reaching 378 metres above sea level, supports an anemometer at its tip. Central Plaza once housed Sky City Church, the world's highest church within a skyscraper, until its closure in May 2026. It remains Hong Kong's third-tallest tower, superseded only by Two International Finance Centre and the International Commerce Centre.
