Completed in 1999, Cheung Kong Center is a 70-storey skyscraper in Central, Hong Kong, rising 283 meters and designed by César Pelli. The building occupies a consolidated site formerly comprising the Hong Kong Hilton, Beaconsfield House, and a multi-storey car park, positioned between the HSBC Hong Kong headquarters and the Bank of China Tower. With a gross floor area of approximately 117,100 square meters, it ranks among the city's tallest structures, standing as the fourth-tallest building at completion. The tower serves as headquarters for Cheung Kong Holdings and is owned by its associated company Hutchison Whampoa, with additional tenants including major multinational banking firms. Like many Hong Kong high-rises, the building features colored illumination on its facades that creates intricate light displays at night.
