Dallas Arts Tower, a 225-meter postmodern skyscraper completed in 1987 at 2200 Ross Avenue in downtown Dallas, was designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. The 55-story structure is the fourth tallest building in the city, and the thirteenth in Texas. It is distinguished by its striking architectural features: a curved glass crown and a dramatic six-story aperture near its top, which has earned it the informal nickname "Keyhole Building." The tower formerly housed the Dallas Petroleum Club, a business and social club, on its 39th and 40th floors.
