The Comeau Building, a ten-story Neo-Classical Revival structure in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida, stands at 319 Clematis Street as a landmark of the city's 1920s prosperity. Designed by the local architectural firm Harvey and Clarke and developed by businessman Alfred J. Comeau, the building opened in 1926 as one of the most prestigious office buildings in the area. The boom era in which it was built proved short-lived; Comeau sold the property in 1932 as the Florida land boom collapsed and the Great Depression took hold. Recognized for its historical significance, the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1996. In recent decades, the structure has attracted significant investment, selling for $5.1 million in 2006, $12 million in 2015, and as part of a multi-building portfolio for $54.2 million in 2021.
