Coors Field is a baseball stadium in downtown Denver, Colorado, home to Major League Baseball's Colorado Rockies since its opening in 1995. Designed by Populous and built at a cost of $300 million, the park sits in the Lower Downtown neighborhood, two blocks from Union Station, with a capacity of 50,144. The stadium features 63 luxury suites and 4,526 club seats. Known as a hitter's park due to Denver's high elevation and semi-arid climate, which enhance batted-ball distances, Coors Field employs outfield fences positioned farther from home plate and stores baseballs in a humidor to moderate playing conditions. The venue has hosted two MLB All-Star Games (1998 and 2021) and an outdoor NHL Stadium Series game in 2016, in addition to concerts and other events.
