Daikin Park is a retractable roof baseball stadium in Houston, Texas, designed by Populous and opened in 2000 as the home of the Houston Astros. With a seating capacity of 41,168—including 5,197 club seats and 63 luxury suites—the ballpark features a natural grass playing field and was built to replace the historic Astrodome, the world's first domed baseball and football stadium that had operated since 1965. Originally known as Enron Field, the venue has undergone several name changes throughout its history.
