The Crystal Mosque, or Masjid Kristal, stands on the island of Wan Man in Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia, within the Islamic Heritage Park. Built between 2006 and 2008, this distinctive modern structure combines steel, glass, and crystal in its construction, departing from traditional mosque design while maintaining Islamic architectural principles. The mosque was officially inaugurated on February 8, 2008, by Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin, the 13th Yang di-Pertuan Agong. Its spacious interior can accommodate over 1,500 worshipers at a time, making it a significant religious and cultural landmark in the region.
