Diagonal ZeroZero is a 110-metre, 25-storey skyscraper in Barcelona designed by Enric Massip-Bosch and completed in 2011. A landmark of high-tech architecture, the building employs a sophisticated tube-in-tube structural system: a concrete core surrounded by a steel perimeter frame divided into two rings—an interior lattice of exceptionally slender H-pillars and an exterior bracing grid engineered to resist torsional and seismic forces. The tower was erected with remarkable speed, its steel structure completed in eight months through three-shift, seven-day-week construction that at peak employed over 450 workers simultaneously. Originally developed by Barcelona's public agency Consorci de la Zona Franca and leased to Telefónica Group as their Catalan corporate and R&D headquarters, the building was designated a Cultural Asset of Catalonia and passed to Filipino businessman Andrew Tan's Emperador Properties in 2019.
