Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1908, the Edward E. Boynton House in Rochester, New York, is a two-story Prairie School residence commissioned by widower Edward Everett Boynton and his daughter Beulah. Comprising approximately 5,500 square feet on a one-acre lot, the home represents a substantial investment—its construction, furnishings, and land cost between $45,000 and $50,000, an extraordinary sum for the era. The house retains seventeen pieces of original Wright-designed furniture, contributing to its significance as a largely intact example of the architect's Prairie School vision.
