Located in Geneva, Illinois, Fabyan Villa is a Prairie School residence remodeled by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1907 for George and Nelle Fabyan, who occupied it from approximately 1908 to 1939 as the centerpiece of their country estate, Riverbank. After the Kane County Forest Preserve District acquired the property in 1939, the home opened to the public as a museum beginning in 1940. Today, operated by Preservation Partners of the Fox Valley since 1995, the Fabyan Villa Museum showcases the Fabyans' personal artifacts, original furnishings, and photographs that document both the house and the broader Riverbank story.
