The Former Wheeler County Courthouse in Bartlett, Nebraska, completed in 1918, stands as the state's sole known courthouse in the Mission Revival architectural style. Distinguished by a hipped roof originally clad in red tiles with a broad overhang, the building displays hallmark Mission Revival features including simplified massing, paired slender brackets adorning corner pilasters and the entrance, and a Palladian window above the front door. The district courtroom occupies the second floor. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990, the courthouse was repurposed by the Wheeler County Historical Society as a museum commemorating county government and pioneer life, with a modern courthouse built adjacent to the historic structure.
