The Frauenthal & Schwarz Building, a two-story commercial structure at 824 Front Street in Conway, Arkansas, exemplifies Chicago School design from the 1920s. Built in 1925 by architects Sanders & Ginocchio as a major expansion and renovation of an 1879 building, it combines brick, steel, and concrete into a refined urban facade. The ground floor features expansive plate glass windows and paired double-leaf doorways beneath a flat metal overhang, while the upper story displays four groups of six windows with a distinctive two-pane arrangement—larger sections topped by smaller ones. A decorative cornice with Mediterranean and flattened Italianate brackets crowns the composition. Recognized as one of Conway's finest surviving commercial buildings from the era, the structure was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.
