The Park Building is a nine-story Chicago School commercial tower on Public Square in downtown Cleveland, Ohio, designed by architect Frank Seymour Barnum and completed in 1904. Built with reinforced concrete floors—a pioneering structural choice for early twentieth-century Cleveland office towers—the building features brick walls, large bay windows detailed with bronze and granite, terrazzo and stone floors, and carefully crafted woodwork. Its prominent Public Square elevation is considerably longer than its Ontario Street frontage, and the structure adjoins a four-story building to the south and the taller May Company Building to the rear. Originally housing small service businesses such as dental and legal offices alongside insurance operations and periodicals publishers, the building was owned by the same family from its construction until 2006, when developer Matt Howells acquired and converted it into condominiums, with first residents arriving in 2009. The Park Building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996 for its architectural significance.
