The Park Avenue Building is a 12-story Beaux-Arts office tower designed by Albert Kahn and completed in 1922, located at 2001–2017 Park Avenue in the Grand Circus Park Historic District of Downtown Detroit. Originally called the General Necessities Building, the structure encompasses 101,565 square feet and exemplifies Kahn's classical architectural vocabulary applied to early twentieth-century commercial design. The building was previously owned by Ralph Sachs, who also owned the historic Hotel Charlevoix. As of 2015, it was listed for sale and has been targeted for demolition as part of the city's "Arena District" rehabilitation initiative.
