Hampshire House, a 36-story Beaux-Arts and Historicist apartment building and hotel completed in 1937, stands at 150 Central Park South in Manhattan, commanding the southern edge of Central Park between Sixth and Seventh Avenues. Rising 143 meters, the structure contains 155 apartments and exemplifies the grand residential architecture of the pre-war era.
